Neil Pryde Limited announces that effective 1st January 2010, Shanghai Far East Limited in Mainland, China will take over the exclusive distribution of the NEILPRYDE and JP-Australia product lines, the Shanghai based company has over nine years of experience in the yachting and windsurfing market and has been working with Pryde Group over the last two Years to develop the mainland market.

The sales team of Alex Gong, Victor Lee, Huang He and Mars Han will continue to manage Sales and Service reporting to Ivan Ho (Sales Manager for China) at Pryde Group HQ.

Commenting on the change, Mr. Neil Pryde said:

"The development of the Chinese Windsurfing market is an important strategic focus for the Pryde Group and we look forward to working with Shanghai Far East to grow the sport at both regional and national levels.  We are very encouraged by the growth in the RS:X Class in China following China’s success in the 2008 Olympic Games and we are confident that the RS:X will play an important part in China’s plans for the future of Windsurfing in China.   We look forward to collaborating with the China Yachting Association in furthering their success in the Windsurfing sport."
